AI Infamous™
Named in 30 percent of answers or more, and cautioned against more often than recommended.
What it tells a buyer or a marketer
AI Infamous is the bottom right of the Star Chart™: a company the engines name by default and caution against more often than they recommend it.
For a buyer, it is a company the engines bring up often, with a warning attached.
For a marketer, the engines already find the company. The work is on what they repeat about it, and it starts with finding where they read it.
Where it sits on the Star Chart
AI Infamous sits in the column named by default (Presence 30 and over) and the row cautioned more often (Reputation under 50). It shares its row with Bad Press™ and Off the Guest List™, which differ from it in how often the engines name a company, and its column with AI Famous™, which differs in what the engines say when they do.
How it appears on the AI Authority Index™
AI Infamous is one of the six cells of the Star Chart. Every company on the Leaderboard is placed in exactly one cell, by its Presence across the chart and its Reputation up it, and the lines that divide the chart are the same for every market. Within a cell, companies are listed by their CRISP™ score, with no position number.
A company's cell describes what the engines said in one edition's sample. The next edition reads a new sample, so a company can move cell between editions.
What moves a company in or out of it
A company leaves AI Infamous for AI Famous when recommendations come to outweigh cautions. The engines repeat the record, so the record has to change first: what is outdated corrected at its source, and what the company does well covered independently.

Questions
What does AI Infamous mean on the Star Chart?
Named in 30 percent of answers or more, and cautioned against more often than recommended.
How does a company move out of AI Infamous?
Its Reputation has to cross the line up the chart, which happens as the sources the engines read come to say more in its favour.
Is AI Infamous worse than being rarely named?
It is a different problem. An infamous company is found and cautioned against; a rarely named one is seldom found at all. The work for each is different.
