Scalare Partners

- Media Coverage & PR
- Thought Leadership
Third Hemisphere put ASX-listed small-cap Scalare Partners inside live national conversations, leading with opinion and data rather than announcements. The programme beat its tier-one KPI, with three placements by February, an AFR feature in May, and results coverage across The Canberra Times, The Courier-Mail, and SmartCompany.
The Challenge
Scalare Partners is an ASX-listed venture capital and startup services company. Small-caps rarely get tier-one attention: they lack the market weight that makes business editors take notice, and their news flow is dominated by announcements only investors read. The brief set a concrete bar: two tier-one placements as the agreed KPI, alongside sustained visibility for the firm's leadership in the startup sector's trade press.
Our Strategy
Third Hemisphere led with opinion and data rather than announcements, positioning Scalare's leaders inside live national conversations, including the work-from-home debate.
The Execution
The team secured half-year results coverage in metropolitan mastheads and extended each tier-one placement through targeted follow-on titles so a single story worked several audiences.
The Results
The tier-one KPI of two placements was exceeded, with three achieved by February and further tier-one coverage landing after. An AFR feature on work-from-home policy ran in May, extended through Women's Agenda and Startup Scaleup. Half-year results coverage ran in The Canberra Times in February, with The Courier-Mail and SmartCompany following in March. Startup Daily published the firm's flywheel investment editorial, and the engagement closed in June 2026 with the coverage report recording delivery well ahead of the agreed KPIs.
