Third Hemisphere launched the CloudWave to NeonNow rebrand as an exclusive-first campaign anchored by CRN Australia, generating 259 pieces of global coverage in a single coordinated wave. A parallel executive programme, spanning The Canberra Times, Reuters, and TickerTV, kept NeonNow's leaders visible through the transition.
The Challenge
NeonNow, formerly CloudWave, is an Australian technology company whose AI platform serves the roadside assistance and mobility sector. In early 2026 the company faced a delicate communications moment: a full rebrand. A rebrand handled badly reads as a company hiding from its past; handled well, it becomes a global news moment that resets how the market sees the business. The brief was to launch the new identity, protect continuity with existing customers and partners, and keep the company's executives visible in the industry conversation before and after the change.
Our Strategy
Third Hemisphere built the rebrand as an exclusive-first campaign: CRN Australia broke the CloudWave to NeonNow story, giving the announcement a credible trade-media anchor before global distribution.
The Execution
The team then amplified the announcement and the NeonNow IQ product news through international channels, and ran a parallel executive visibility programme: an opinion piece in The Canberra Times arguing prevention is only half the road safety story, broadcast interviews on TickerTV, and GDM placements in international business and technology media.
The Results
The rebrand generated 259 pieces of global coverage across business, technology, media, and company news, anchored by the CRN Australia exclusive. The NeonNow IQ announcement was amplified across 256 global news sites. The executive programme placed an op-ed in The Canberra Times, a GDM on Reuters, broadcast interviews on TickerTV, and follow-on GDM placements including HackerNoon, The AI Journal, CEO Review, and Inkl. The rebrand landed globally in a single coordinated wave, and the executive programme kept NeonNow in the mobility conversation on both sides of the change.
