Third Hemisphere turned ANDHealth's own industry survey into evidence-led advocacy for a sector in a capital drought: 14 placements in the retainer's first six weeks, including two AFR placements, a Capital Brief exclusive that produced three stories, and saturation of the digital health trade press.

The Challenge

ANDHealth is Australia's digital health commercialisation organisation, representing a sector caught in a capital drought that was pushing companies offshore. The brief was advocacy through earned media: put the sector's funding crisis on the national agenda, backed by evidence rather than complaint, and establish ANDHealth's managing director as the voice policymakers and investors hear on digital health commercialisation.

Our Strategy

Third Hemisphere built the centrepiece campaign around ANDHealth's own evidence: the FY2026 Industry Sentiment Survey, packaging member data as the proof behind the sector's capital-drought story.

The Execution

Within three weeks of the retainer starting in mid-April 2026, the team placed ANDHealth's managing director in the AFR's coverage of proposed capital gains tax changes, in print and online. The survey's capital-drought findings went to Capital Brief as an exclusive, managed through a difficult interview dynamic, and were then expanded into an opinion piece for InnovationAus that was subsequently placed in Health Times.

The Results

The programme delivered 14 placements between 6 and 29 May, in the first six weeks of the retainer, including two AFR placements and three Capital Brief stories from the survey exclusive, plus multiple inclusions in the Capital Brief newsletter. Trade coverage saturated the sector's own media: Health Services Daily, Pulse+IT, Health Industry Hub, Business News Australia, CFOtech, ITBrief, Dynamic Business, and The Aussie Corporate.
