Traveloka boasts 35 million+ customers for its most successful sales campaign

Traveloka’s EPIC Sale 2024 marked a record-breaking achievement, drawing over 35 million customers and generating millions in savings, making it the company’s most successful campaign to date. Launched in Indonesia in 2012, Traveloka now operates across multiple Asia-Pacific markets, including Malaysia, its fastest-growing market. The campaign saw nearly a twofold increase in traffic, particularly in Indonesia and Malaysia, reinforcing Traveloka’s position as a leading travel app with over 130 million downloads and 40 million monthly active users.

The success was powered by collaborations with over 10,000 partners, including Malaysia Airlines, Accor, and Hong Kong Disneyland. Credit card transactions surged fivefold, with customers enjoying up to 15% savings, reflecting strong partnerships with regional banks.

EPIC Sale 2024 also provided valuable insights into travel trends in Southeast Asia. Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong SAR emerged as top destinations. Booking behaviors revealed a blend of spontaneity and advance planning, with 82% of travelers booking trips 3-4 days ahead. Family-friendly destinations saw significant demand, with bookings for attractions like LEGOLAND Malaysia and Hong Kong Disneyland soaring by up to four times.
