Men’s Role in Advancing Gender Equality Today
Progress on gender equality often still feels glacial at best. But we think men – especially those in power – have a lot to contribute when it comes to achieving gender equality in Australia.
Because let’s face it. The deeply entrenched male-dominated structures our society is built upon ensure that men still occupy the vast majority of positions in power. Even in 2023.
We firmly believe we can, and should, do more to dismantle the systems and biases that prevent gender equality.
So together we’re calling on men to move from passive allies to active advocates, with advice on what the men of Australia can do today outlined in this editorial for Women’s Agenda here.
