Muzzammil explains how the app aligns with Islamic investment criteria by avoiding socially injurious sectors like conventional banking. Hejaz taps into the $4.5 trillion held globally by Muslims, emphasising transparency and robust management to attract capital, both locally and globally.

 

The Halal Money app, downloaded over 15,000 times during the beta phase, facilitates everyday transactions without interest. Muzzammil points out its user-friendliness and potential growth in markets like the UK and Middle East. Partnerships, like with Bahrain’s ruling family, aim to broaden its reach.
